[9055] Dora's obituary from the "News-Journal [Mansfield, OH], 30 Sept 1936": Mrs. Dora Elizabeth Stillwagon, 62, widow of Adam Stillwagon, died at the family home on Lida Street, early today following a lingering illness. Born on a farm in Jackson township Oct. 5, 1874, she came to Mansfield 27 years ago. She was a member of the Mayflower Congregational Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marie Danals; a son, Clarence; her mother,Mrs. Levi Earick, all of Mansfield; three brothers, Earnest Earick of Applecreek, Orville Earick of Mansfield, & Willard Earick of Shelby; a sister, Mrs. Marie Wade of Shelby; and six grandchildren."

All spellings appear in early Hingham, MA records. Are they the same? Note: Came to Hingham about 1650 and in 1656 had land granted to him in the south part of town. Whether he was a connection of the early Garners/Gardners of Boston is uncertain. The inventory of his estate was appraised by John Tower and John Ripley, 28 April 1669, at £44, 11s. and included "the Goats that have been sold to pay debts and maintain the family." Wife Mary administrix.
