Kleckner, housework age 21, of Saville Twp., d/o Andrew & Rhetta Kleckner, married 22 Mar 1892, Bloomfield, by J. E. Bonsall." "The Perry County Democrat, 31 May 1899," p. 3: "Charles Rice, who kept store at Saville P. O., in the old stand formerly occupied by J. S. Wetzel, Esq., died on Saturday, from the effects, it is reported, of drinking a quantity of bitters kept on sale in the store. Mr. Rice, it is stated, drank twelve bottles of the bitters from Thursday until Saturday, when he was taken suddenly ill and died within an hour after going to bed. He was aged about 40 years and leaves a wife and two children. A brother, Absalom Rice, of near Saville, also survives."
