Noah and Orlintha Young, was born July 24, 1855, in Sandusky county, Ohio, and departed this life on May 24, 1935, at the age of 79 years and 10 months. On Octobar 2, 1877, she was united in marriage to Oliver Perry Huss. To this union were born five children, Mrs. Lucy Bisbee, of Fremont, Indiana, Jay B., of Fremont, Mrs. Ethel Reppert, of Cambria, Mich., James D., of Fremont, and Mrs. Edna Steffey, of Albion, Mich. With her husband she began married life on his mother's farm in Ohio. In March, 1888, they moved to a farm south of Fremont, Ind., where they lived until Oct. 31, 1911, when they moved to Fremont, where she spent the remainder of her life. They were blessed with a long and happy married life, having celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on October 2, 1921. In her early years she confessed Christ her Savior, uniting with the Mt. Lebanon U. B. church in Sandusky county, Ohio. When she came to Indiana she transferred her membership to the Jones Chapel M. E. church. Later uniting with the Fremont M. E. church, of which she was a loyal member until her death. She was also a member of the W. C. T. U. She was a very considerate wife and mother. To her home, her whole being was dedicated. She appreciated the beautiful things of nature, always trying to beautify her home with flowers and shrubs. Her husband preceded her in death only five months ago. She leaves to mourn their loss the five children, one brother, Edwin Young, of Greensprings, Ohio, and one sister, Mrs Civilla Smith, of Fremont, Ohio, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends."
