[52034] "The Ellsworth American [ Ellsworth, Maine], 30 November 2018": "Sedgwick - Stephen Astbury, 75, of Sedgwick, died peacefully at his home Nov. 25, 2018. Stephen was born in Blue Hill on May 15, 1943, to James M. and Abigail (Gray) Astbury Sr. Stephen served eight years in the Air Force and was a member of IRA Berry Lodge in Blue Hill. He owned and operated his garage for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brenda, his devoted son, Skip Astbury and his significant other Doreen; his daughter Debbie Astbury and son Stephen Astbury Jr.; his brother Virgil Astbury and a favorite niece Mary as well as many other nieces and nephews; three grandsons, Seth Lucas and Brandon and Darryl Astbury. He will be missed by his constant companion and beloved dog, Brandy. Stephen was predeceased by both parents; brothers Thomas, James Jr., Roger, Clayton and Albert Gray; sisters, Isabelle, Rose and Gloria and his son Todd Astbury."

He then married Maria Phillippina Miller and they had eight children together. He died on March 26, 1806, in Paradise [Twp.], Pennsylvania, at the age of 70, and was buried in [York Co.], Pennsylvania. When Maria Phillippina Miller was born in July 1743, her mother, Anna, was 19. She married (Johan) Adam Christ on December 27, 1776. They had eight children in 23 years. She died on September 6, 1813, in Paradise [Twp.], Pennsylvania, at the age of 70, and was buried in York [Co.], Pennsylvania."
