She married Earl Clayton Iceman on July 1, 1944, in Ashland, Ohio. They had one child during their marriage. She died on November 27, 1994, in Wooster, Ohio, at the age of 70, and was buried in her hometown." "News-Journal [Mansfield, Ohio], 29 November 1994," p. 10: "Jeromesville - - Betty J. Iceman, 70, of 56 Highland Ave. died Sunday at Wooster Community Hospital. Mrs. Iceman was born Jan. 11, 1924, in Ashland to George and Mary Hartsel. She attended the Jeromesville Christian Church and had been employed as a seamstress at the former Cresco Manufacturing Co. in Ashland for several years. Surviving are her husband, Earl C. Iceman, whom she married July 1, 1944; a daughter, Christina R. Iceman of Jeromesville; and a sister, Golda Paullin of Jeromesville. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fickes Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. John Collins. Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery."
