[56215] Frank's obituary: "Frank J. Gallant, 81, husband of the late Helen Ann Gallant, passed away Sunday January 14, 2024 in Bangor. He was born on November 9, 1942 in Brewer, the son of Frank J. and Irene E. (Starbird) Gallant. After the tragic loss of his biological father, he was raised by his stepfather John and Irene. Frank was Brewer High School class of 61 and UMaine class of 66 where he earned a degree in education. He taught math in Marblehead, Massachusetts moved to Connecticut where he eventually retired as a network engineer from Aetna Life & Casualty. He and Ann always wanted to return to their roots and moved back to Brewer in 1998. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 55 years in 2022. Frank was an avid wood worker who often volunteered his time to share his skills and was a member of the 'Cellar Boys' Wood Turning group. Frank also worked as a volunteer for the Brewer Housing Authority and cribbage master for the local Organization for the Aging. He will be sadly missed by his friends and colleagues.Surviving are two sons, John Gallant and his wife Lynn and grandchildren Jordan and Devin of Killingworth, CT and Andrew Gallant and his partner Sheree Suggs Kingeter and grandchildren Kaydee, Danielle and Andrew of Marietta, GA; sisters, Kathy (Gallant) Cheverie and Margaret (Gallant) Packer and her husband Ed; brothers and their spouses Bill and Anna Gallant and Jim Gallant and Patricia Craft."
