Winnifred's obituary: "Winnifred June (Rice) Flickinger ("Winnie"), age 88 of Loysville, PA., died July 8, 2019 at her home. Born April 1, 1931 in Ickesburg, Perry County, She was the daughter of the late Clarence W. Rice and Kathyrn (Stewart) Rice. Winnifred was the widow of David ("Flick") S. Flickinger who died September 15, 1985, whom she married November 15, 1952. She is survived by two siblings; a brother Fred Rice and wife Lucy of Ickesburg and sister Bonnie Benner of Duncannon, two daughters; Vicki (Flickinger) Sweger of Loysville, PA., and Sandra Flickinger of Loysville, PA. one son; Perry S. Flickinger of Loysville, PA, granddaughter; Kayla M. Flickinger, step grandson; Jason Sabo and wife Tia Sabo of Texas., one great grandchild Chloe Sabo of Texas, and many nieces and nephews. She was retired from Properity Enterprises in Blain, PA. Winnifred also worked at C.H. Masland & Sons Good Year Air Core Corp and Kathette Manufacturing Company of New Bloomfield, PA. She was a member of the Landisburg Fire Company and Landisburg Ambulance Club. In addition to her parents Winnifred was preceded in death by six brothers; Calvin E. Rice, Donald Rice, Jack Rice, Larry Rice, Steven Rice, and Dean Rice; three sisters; Anna Ruth Peterson, Mary Bernhisel, and Margaret Reisinger.
Services will be held at the Faith United Church Of Christ, with pastor Elaine Moyer officiating the service."
