[49916] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 7 April 1961, p. 16: "Albion - Seth Henry Bradstreet, 75, died Thursday afternoon at a Waterville hospital after a brief illness. He was born at Freedom April 20, 1885 of Frederick and Clora (Harvey) Bradstreet. He graduated from Freedom Academy in 1903 and had been a resident and farmer in Albion for 53 years. He was a member of the Albion IOOF for 48 years and was a past grand. He was also a member of the Albion Grange. He was a selectman and served on the school committee and as chairman of the School committee in Albion He was co-operator of the Waterville Savings Bank and was chairman of the FHA committee for Kennebec County. Survivors include, besides his widow, the former Ethel Gladys Nelson, five sons, Clair of Palermo, Seth, Jr. of Newport, Frederick Donald and Cecil Bradstreet, all of Albion; seven daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Purinton of Falmouth Foreside, Mrs. Winifred Worthing of Augusta, Mrs. Alberta Macklin of Winslow, Mrs. Lucille Sawlivick, Mrs. Ethelyn Russell, both of Sidney, Mrs. Virginia Hutchins of Boothbay Harbor, and Mrs. Clora Perkins Albion; 43 grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother Herbert Bradstreet of Freedom; and three sisters, Gertrude of Arlington, Mass., Eunice of Augusta and Cecilia Bradstreet of Bangor."

In the name of God Amen The xiv day of September in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Forty Eight I Hugh Parrell of the county of Frederick being Sick of body but of good and perfect memory (Thanks be to Almighty God) do make Consitute Ordain and declare This my last will and testamentn in manner and form revoking and annulling by these presents all and every Testament and Testaments Will or Wills heretofore by me made and declared either by Word or Writing Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament And as touching my worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this Life I give and dispose in the following manner:
Imprimis I give and bequeath to my son Edward Parrel Two hundred acres of Land Joining to Doctor Daniel Hart and John Milbourne to him and his Heirs forever one hundred being pattented and the other being that which is Surveyed and the Plot returned to the Secretarys Office and also Ten Acres of my Marsh for the term of Fifteen years to be laid off the lower end of the same by a line a Cross.
Item I give and bequeath to my sons Joseph and John Parrel the remain part of my Patented land to be equally between them in the following manner the East and thereof to be my son Joseph and the other to be my son John which is to include the Plantation to them and theirs forever.
Item I give and bequeath to my loving Kinsman John Bruce and his Heirs forever Three hundred Acres of Land be the same more of less lying on the south West Side of Red bud Creek and Joining on my aforesaid Patented Land which said Three hundred Acres of Land is not yet Patented but Surveyed and returned to the Secretarys Office.
Item I give and bequeath to my loving wife Ann Parrell a bed and Cloaths the Bay Mare I had of William Gaddis and her Yearling Colt which belonged to her Old Mare.
Item I give and bequeath to my Son Edward the Roan horse the Bay Mare and black Mare which I had formerly given him before.
Item I give and bequeath to my said son Joseph the black Mare and colt which I formerly gave him before.
Item my Will is that after my Just debts are paid the residue of my personal Estate shall be equally divided between my said Wife and my three sons and my daughter Christian.
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Christian Ten pounds to be paid to her when she comes of Age by my said Son Edward, Joseph and John in equal proportions and if any of said Sons should die before she comes of age that then the survivors of them shall pay her the sum aforesaid.
Item my will is that if either of my said sons Joseph and John should die before they come of age that his land shall descend to the Survivor of them to be equally divided between him and my son Edward and if my said sons Joseph and John should die before they come of age that then my will is that the Lands willed them shall descend to my said son Edward.
Item I do hereby appoint my well beloved wife Ann Parrel Executrix My son Edward Parrel and my Cousin Robert Calvert Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have Set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
