Robert was first Baron Roos of Belvoir and first Lord Roos of Helmsley and died in May or June, 1285 per Carr P. Collins, "Royal Ancestors of Manga Chara Barons" (Dallas, 1959), p. 19. Death date is from "Ancestral Roots..." (Balt., 1992) 89-29. http://www.geneajourney.com/ros.html reports he was "Chief commissioner in Herefordshire in 1258 (to inquire as to excesses in that county), summoned the same year, and later, for service in Scotland, and against the Welsh. Sided with Simon de Montfort in 1263/64, and was holding Northampton, under the younger Simon, when the King took it in April, but within several days he had safe conduct to meet with the King. On 24 December he was summoned to de Montfort's Parliament in London. On 18 May 1265, Prince Edward escaped from his custody at Hereford and Robert surrendered Gloucester Castle to the Prince 29 June. Ten days after the battle of Evesham, at the Prince's insistance, Robert received full pardon. In November of 1276, he was one of the Council at Westminster who gave judgment against Prince Llewelyn, and was summoned for the consequent campaign. He was buried at Kirkham, Lancashire." See "Medieval English Ancestors of Certain Americans," Carl Boyer III (Santa Clarita, CA, 2001), pp. 216-217 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_de_Ros,_1st_Baron_de_Ros.

[11427] Ferdinand m. 1816 Antoinette ("Antonia") Kohary (1797-1862), the only child of Prince Joseph Kohary, Chancellor to the Austrian Emperor and a member of one of the wealthiest families of Hungary. Prince Joseph persuaded the Emperor to give Antoinette the benefits of a son, causing her to inherit the Coburg estate. This was resisted by the Kohary families, and one of them, a monk named Brother Emericus Kohary, pronounced a formal curse on her descendants - see "Hessian Tapestry," David Duff (1967), p. 46. Cf. http://www.thepeerage.com/p10086.htm and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Ferdinand_of_Saxe-Coburg_and_Gotha.
[59168] Lovina is daughter of Stephen W. Tibbetts (1813-1873) & Lovina Ruth Hooper (1815-1898). Gray (1873-1916) & Maurice Clifford Gray ( b. in 1876).
[1008] Elizabeth's grave stone states she died at age 25.
