Born Feb. 20, 1900, in Mansfield, where he lived all his life, Mr. Heichel was a retired 45-year employee of Mansfield Tire & Rubber Co. and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Sons of Herman and Mansfield Tire 25 Year Club. Surviving are two sons, William E. of Mansfield and Robert G. of Bellville; two daughters, Dorothy M. Ball and Donna J. Heichel, both of Mansfield; an adopted son, Richard of Mansfield; an adopted daughter, Judy Mayer of Mansfield; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline King Heichel and his second wife, Gertrude Jackson Heichel; three brothers, a sister; seven half brothers; and three half sisters."

[637] Catherine Armstrong (at http://castlewales.com/mar_chld.html) reports: "Eve/Eva (d1246) married William de Braose (Briouze), son of Reginald de Braose, before 1219. They had four daughters, and William de Braose was hanged by Llywelyn ap Iorwerth in 1230. The stated reason for the hanging was the accusation that William had dallied with Llywelyns wife Joan, bastard of King John. This does not withstand close scrutiny, and William was in all probability hung for the crimes of his grandfather, William de Braose lord of Bramber and Abergavenny, against the Welsh. Eves and de Braoses daughters were: Maud/Matilda (d1301) who married Roger de Mortimer of Wigmore; Isabel (d?) who married (1229) David (d1246), son of Llywelyn ap Iorwerth; Eve (d1255) who married William de Cantelou; and Eleanor (d c 1250) who married Humphrey de Bohun earl of Hereford. It is worth noting that Eves daughter, Isabel, was married to the son of the man who had hung her father. Her fate is not known except for the fact that she and David had no children. There are records of letters between Isabels uncle William, her mother Eve, and Llywelyn about her marriage contract to David after her fathers death. Given the time period and known practices, it must be assumed that Isabels uncle, William, decided that the marriage was necessary for the good of the 'feudal' family."

She was born July 28, 1921, in Old Town, the daughter of Charles A. and Olive B. (Cousins) Perro. She attended schools in Old Town and attended the University of Maine. Mary Harriet was named for her grandmother, Mary Perro and her grandmother, Harriet Cousins. In her early years, she spent many hours with her grandfather, Augustus Perro, at his business, Hotel Fransway in Old Town. She also visited summers with her grandparents, Harriet and Everett Cousins, and her aunt, Agnes Hilton in Guilford, where she met her future husband, Linwood Lloyd Colson Jr. She was a devoted member of United Methodist Church of Guilford serving as a Sunday school teacher and assisting with various fundraisers and volunteering at church fairs and suppers for many years. She was an active member of Conner-Trafton Post of American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Band-Aids in SAD No. 4, supporting the local Guilford bands through fundraising and volunteer work. Surviving are two children, Pamela S. (Colson) Power and her husband, James, of Veazie and Dr. Linwood L. Colson III and special friend, Nicholas J. Wood, of Bangor; a nephew and several cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth E. Perro."
