[26601] In 2007 http://www.fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/HUNGARY.htm offers a tentative identification of a daughter of Salamon and Judith: "[Sophia (-26 Jun [1110], bur Zwiefalten). 'Europäische Stammtafeln' shows Sophia, wife of Graf Poppo who was ancestor of the Grafen von Berg, as daughter of King Salomon. The source on which this is based has not so far been identified, but it appears unlikely chronologically. The granddaughter of Poppo and Sophia, Salome (second wife of Boles?aw III Duke of Poland), was born 'before 1101' which, assuming that she was her parents' oldest child (which is not known), would place the birth of her father in [1080] at the latest. If it is assumed that her paternal grandmother bore her own first child at the early age of 15, this would still place Sophia's birth in [1065] at the latest, when the wife of King Salamon was only about 11 years old. Until further evidence comes to light, it is assumed that the Hungarian affiliation of Poppo's wife was originally proposed as a hypothesis to explain the unusual first name 'Salome' born by Sophie's daughter and granddaughter. However, the necrologies of Swabian monasteries show that the name "Salome", although not common, did exist on its own, not as a female form of 'Salamon', during this period. m Poppo Graf, Herr von Roggenstein, son of --- (-11 Aug [1110], bur Zwiefalten).]"
[50779] Irene is said to be daughter of Peter McFarland (1761-1846) & Elizabeth Carter (1784-1854; m. 13 July 1802 in Blue Hill, Hancock Co., ME).

"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]." 23 December 2025: "Limestone, Maine - Shirley May (Morris) Lauritsen, 92, passed away peacefully at home with family on December 22, 2025. She was born September 29, 1933, in Limestone, the daughter of Frank Benjamin Morris and Jessie (Hill) Morris and lived her entire life in Limestone.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Sheldon Lauritsen; plus her children, Marlene Lauritsen of Limestone, Kevin and wife, Ellen (Espling) Lauritsen, of Ashville, NC, and Dana and Tammy (Garland) Lauritsen of Boyd, TX. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Krista (Lauritsen) Valley and her husband, Brian, of California and Kara Lauritsen of Germany; one great-granddaughter, Ella Valley; and dozens of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by two brothers, F. Ellsworth 'Ike' Morris and Coburn L. 'Cobie' Morris, both of Limestone; and one sister, Betty Jean (Morris) Russell of California. Shirley was a graduate of the Limestone High School, class of 1951. From 1951 to 1952, she was a secretary for the Army Corps of Engineers at Loring AFB. Marriage to Sheldon soon followed in December 1952. Her career was paused when children were born over the next 5 years, but she would eventually work as an elementary school secretary for 25 years, 13 years for the Limestone School System and 12 years for MSAD #45 (Perham, Wade and Washburn). Nearly all those years were spent working side-by-side with Sheldon, the K-8 school principle. A member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Limestone, she taught CCD classes and was a 25 year member of the Daughters, of Isabella, Limestone, where she served two years as their Regent. She was an assistant leader of both a Girl Scout Troop and a Boy Scout Troop, and she volunteered with Meals on Wheels. For 26 years during her retirement, Shirley served as a weekly volunteer at Cary Medial Center, Caribou, in the Diabetes Clinic. Shirley enjoyed many wonderful times working outdoors with Sheldon, tending their flower and vegetable gardens, distance walking, cross country skiing, square dancing and hiking with special friends Edward and Florence McIntyre. She was a member of the Aroostook Valley Country Club for more than 30 years. A big fan of the Red Sox and Celtics, you could find her watching games when time allowed. Special fun was encountering former students and colleagues in the community and catching up on their lives. It was a life well lived."

[22218] He married Katherine Nevil, daughter of Ralph, Earl of Westmoreland, the IGI giving date and place as 12 Jan 1411 in Raby, Durham. K.G. Cf. http://www.geocities.com/hank99uk/Mowbray.html and http://www.mowfam.freeserve.co.uk/page39.htm. http://www.medievalgenealogy.org.uk offered 30 Oct 2005: "JOHN (DE MOWBRAY), EARL OF NORFOLK, EARL OF NOTTINGHAM, EARL MARSHAL, and LORD MOWBRAY and SEGRAVE, br. and h., b. 1392 [d. 1432]. The contradictory evidence about his date of birth is discussed by Mary Erler [in 'Hoccleve's Portrait?', The Ricardian, vol. 13, p. 228, note 27 (2003)]. She finds the most prevalent date given in inquisitions to be 10 August 1390 (with others giving the year 1391 or occasionally 1389), though according to a proof of age in 1412 he was 'born at Calais on 3 August 1390 and baptised in St Mary's church there on 9 August'."
