[56050] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 2 August 2009: "Greenbush - Sheila Ann Dyer, 56, went to be with the Lord Aug. 1, 2009, at peace in her home. Sheila was diagnosed with cancer in October 2007, and courageously fought her battle. She was born June 24, 1953, the daughter of Donald and Francis (Boyington) Martin of Bangor. A graduate of Bangor High School in 1972, Shelia worked at doing different jobs. She last worked as a home health care provider for many years. In 1996 Sheila co-founded End Time Harvest Church, Greenbush, with her husband. Her many works in the ministry will always follow her. She helped spearhead seven youth festivals and five community Christmas outreaches in Greenbush. You could always find her in the kitchen on Sundays, where she put her love for cooking and people to good use, making church dinners. She put others needs before her own, providing food, clothes, rides and even a roof over their heads. She had a passion for gardening, painting and singing during church. We will always remember her for her faithfulness, and her meek and quiet spirit. Sheila is survived by her husband, Pastor Walter Dyer of Greenbush; her two children, Lucas Smith of Lexington, Ky., and Devren (Smith) Madore of Old Town; her two stepchildren, Jennifer Dyer of Passadumkeag and Justin Dyer of Greenbush; her mother-in-law, Mary Rose Dyer, also of Greenbush; her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Genesis, Evan, Ethan, Anneliese, Elijah, Emily, Blake and Kayla; her brothers and sisters, Richard Martin of Clarkston, Mich., Robert Martin of Dedham, Susan McPherson of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Sandra Sanders of Hermon. Sheila was predeceased by stepson, Ramie Dyer; and her parents."
