[46032] "The Perry County Democrat [Bloomfield, Pennsylvania], 10 March 1926," p. 3: "Mrs. Leah Drexler Keck, widow of the late Ellas Keck, of Kennedy's Valley, died at the home of her at the home or her niece, Mrs. Harry Corman, in Kennedy's Valley, on Thursday, March 4th, after a lingering illness from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Keck was a daughter of the late Daniel and Susan Drexler, of Tyrone township, and was of a family of eight, all of whom have passed to the spirit world. Mrs. Keck was a kind mother, friend and neighbor and will be missed by all who knew her. She came to the home of her niece early last fall and was tenderly cared for by Mrs. Corman during her last illness. Mrs. Keck was the mother of the following children: Jesse Keck, of Cumberland county; Daniel, deceased; Luther; Minnie, (Mrs. John Dunkleberger) deceased; Rosa, widow of the late D. W. Dunkleberger, of Churchtown, Cumberland county; Annie, (Mrs. George Morrison) of Carlisle; Florence, (Mrs. Robert Foster) and Alice, (Mrs. William Foster) of Duncannon. The funeral was held from the home of Charles Kell on Saturday at 1 o'clock, with services in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, and burial was made in churchyard adjoining." [48070] June's obituary was published by "Lancaster Online" 11 November 2020: "June W. Albers, 93, of Ephrata, passed away at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital on Sunday, November 8, 2020. Born in Tower City on June 4, 1927, a daughter of the late H. Alvin and R. Virginia Ruch Ritzman. She was married to the late Commander (Ret.) R. J. Albers, USN, for forty years. June was a graduate of Tower City High School; Kutztown State Teacher's College, University of Wyoming, Interamerican Uni-versity (Mexico), Escuela Americana (Burgos, Spain), University of Delaware where she did post graduate work, and North Light Art School. She taught school in Wyoming and Montana. In 1961, she was Fulbright Scholar to Spain and accepted a teaching position with U.S. Navy in Rota, Spain, where she taught English and History in the dependent schools. She was gifted in many areas but gravitated to the arts of oils and watercolors. June was an accomplished watercolorist, having had showings in Florida, and her work hangs in private collections in several states. She is survived by siblings, Joan Ritzman, Ephrata and James Ritzman, Sr., Tower City. Also surviving are nephews and nieces: Rosanne (Bob) Barder, Lykens; Harold (Leni) Ritzman, Jr., Harrisburg; James (Kathy) Ritzman, Jr., Tower City; Roxanne Ritzman, SC; and Darren Ritzman, Lykens; Many cousins also survive. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Harold A. Ritzman. Besides teaching school, she was a Lutheran church secretary in Orange Park, FL and was currently a member of Brickerville United Lutheran Church, Lititz."

She will be remembered as an avid lover of animals and supported humane societies. She is survived by her husband, Walter, of Cambridge; a son, Robert, of Ellsworth; a daughter, Katrina Halletthosenfeld, of Virginia; a brother, Paul, and wife, Patricia Sallie, of Massachusetts; a sister, Donna 'Kim,' and husband, Michael Cross, of Virginia; four grandchildren; many loved nieces and nephews."

His widow is the former Mary Ryzanich. A lifelong resident of Olyphant, he was a member of All Saints Russian Orthodox Church. Mr. Tomaskevitch was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of Raymond Henry American Legion Post 327. Also surviving are four sons, John, Olyphant: William, California; Peter Jr., Throop and Joseph, Youngstown, Ohio; a daughter. Mrs. Antnony Chearno. Youngstown; two sisters, Mrs. Stephen Smetana, Olyphant, and Mrs. Alex Begey, Dickson City; a brother, Stephen, Olyphant; 11 grandchildren and a greatgrandchild. The funeral will be Thursday from the Turko Funeral Home, 404 Susquehanna Ave., with Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. in All Saints Church, interment, parish cemetery, Peckville." Peter's draft registration in April, 1942 states he is employed by Hudson Coal Co. in Grassy, Lackawanna Co., PA and provides his birth information.
