Born in Norridgewock Maine on January 6,1929 to the late Raymond and Hazel (Price) Kinney, he was raised and educated there. Ray relocated to this area as a young man settling in Agawam. He chose a career in the automobile industry working as an auto mechanic for many years as a member of the team at Bertera Dodge in Westfield. In keeping with his appreciation for a well-tuned machine he enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. He was a hardworking man who appreciated the simple pleasures in life. Surviving Ray is his wife Mariann and his children Michael Kinney and Celeste Kinney both of Agawam.
