He was the son of the late Stanley E. Beal and mother Kathleen L. Beal of Milbridge. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Beal, two sons, Evans Beal Jr. of Franklin and Justin Beal of Milbridge, and Josh Beal, who was like his son, three brothers, Anthony Beal, David and Kim Beal of Milbridge, Peter and Terry Beal of Sullivan, three sisters, Cheryl and Tom Murphy of Ellsworth, Elaine Beal of Cherryfield and Mary Beal of Milbridge, and too many nieces and nephews to list. He was a kind and loving husband and father who was always there for us. He was liked by all who knew him. He did many jobs though his life, mostly seasonal work. He loved working on the lobster boat with his captain, Leland Beal. He enjoyed staying home hanging with family, watching TV and spending time with his grandson Benjamin, the apple of his eye. . . . "

He is survived by his son, Luther, four grandchildren and four great-grandichildren. He was a member of Tressler Memorial Lutheran Church, Loysville."

Priscilla "Zillah" Marvin was born on March 10, 1744, in Norwalk, Connecticut. She married Daniel Herrick on January 10, 1764, in Sharon, Connecticut. . . . . She died as a young mother in 1777 in New York at the age of 33."
