They were: David Marshall was born on 25 August 1814; Levi Marshall was born on 15 August 1816; John Marshall was born on 25 August 1817; Mary Marshall was born on 27 November 1818; Elizabeth Marshall was born on 17 June 1823; Patty Marshall was born on 01 OCT 1825; Sarah Marshall was born on 17 June 1830; Francis T. Marshall was born on 05 December 1833; and Lucretia Marshall was born about 1839. All the children were born in Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine. Steward, who retired 10 years ago as a Hercules Powder Co. employe, died at 1:35 p. m. yesterday at his home, 946 Washington street, Freeland. He had been ill three months. Mr. Steward's wife, the former Anna C. Pfansteil, was killed by a car in 1942 as she stepped from their home along the Conyngham road. Born in Freeland, Mr. Steward was a son of the late Jonas and Martha Jane (Schell) Steward. The deceased resided most of his life in Freeland, living for 10 years along the Conyngham Road and the past eight years in Freeland. He was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Freeland, and B. P. O. E., Freeland Lodge 1145. Surviving children include Mrs. Andrew Kegel, Paulsboro, N. J.; Mrs. Paul Schmeerfeld, Hometown; Mrs. Charles Lutz, Somerton, Philadelphia; David L. Steward, of Roosevelt, Long Island; Donald and Robert Steward, Freeland, and Thomas, Frackville. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Feist, Freeland; Mrs. Geraldine Waldron, Drums, and a brother, Percy Steward, Allentown. There are 13 grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 10 a. m. Monday from the Grebey funeral Home with services in charge of Rev. W. M. Kohler. Burial will be made in St. John's cemetery, St. Johns." David is son of Jonas Levine Steward (1860-1896) and Martha Jane Schell (1865-1905).
