"The Akron Beacon Journal, 3 March 1955," p. 2: "Services for William F. Myers, 79, of 86 Annadale av., former real estate man, will be at 1 p. m. Friday in the Billow Akron Chapel, where friends may call after 4:30 p. m. today. The Rev. R. O. Gates and knights of Pythias Aetolia Lodge 24, of which he was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Copley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity. Mr. Myers died Wednesday in his home after a two-week illness. Born in Bath, he was a life resident of Akron and Summit County. For 20 years he was an appraiser for the Summit County Auditor's office. He was a member of the Fifty Year Club and Summit County Historical Society. Mr. Myers leaves his wife, Nina Oviatt Myers; a daughter, Eva of Trinan, Formosa; a sister, Mrs. Charles Boltz of Tampa, Fla., and two brothers, Robert E. and J. Park of Akron."
