[58250] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 11 February 2015: "Tremont - Captain George G. Lawson Sr., a lifetime lobsterman of Bass Harbor, passed away peacefully at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family on February 8th, 2015. He was born on November 3rd, 1929, in West Tremont, Maine, son of Perry Lawson, Sr. and Vera (Seavey) Lawson. After graduating from Pemetic High School in 1948, he enlisted in the US Army serving two tours during the Korean Conflict. Upon his return to the States, he attended Husson College. In 1952, he married Charlotte Dunbar and settled in Tremont to raise their family. As a young man, he went fish dragging with his father and began his own lobster fishing career at the age of twenty- three. He continued lobstering until he was eighty-two years old. George volunteered many hours on behalf of the Town of Tremont including thirty-five years as a Tremont Selectman and twenty-five years as a Tremont School Board Member. He was instrumental in the planning of the MDI High School. He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Charlotte (Dunbar) Lawson and his children, Belinda Lawson and partner, Ken Ogden of Seal Cove, Pamela Lawson of Ellsworth, Cindy Murphy of Southwest Harbor, Gregory Lawson and his wife, Angie of South Bristol, George G. Lawson Jr. and his wife, Beth of West Tremont, Jennie Gray and her husband, Jon of Greenville. His greatest joys in life were his eight grandchildren; Sonja Waldrop, Chantel Flewelling, Travis Murphy, Isiah Gray, Mariah Coffin, Dustin Lawson, John Perry Lawson, and Ashley Lawson; and his eleven beloved great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles Lawson and Leonard 'Buggar' Lawson; and his sisters, Francis Mitchell and Alice Cloak. He was pre-deceased by his parents and his brother, Perry 'Boy' Lawson Jr."

[1868] Chilperic I was King of Neustria (Soissons) 561-584. "History of the Franks," Gregory of Tours (Ernest Brehaut, translator)(NY: W.W.Norton, 1969), p. 277, gives a chart of Clothaire I wives and children, and states that Chilperic I is son of his 4th wife, Aregunda (sister of his 3rd wife, Ingunda). An extended account of Chilperic is given by Fr. Funck-Brentano in "A History of Gaul" (NY: Barnes & Noble, 1993, pp. 259-267).
