She was born May 27, 1930 in Delhousie, New Brunswick, a daughter of Francis Freeman and Phyllis R. (Worden) Cobb. She attended Becker Junior College and spent almost 35 years working at Dexter Shoe Company. She also did volunteer work at the office of Dr. Challa Reddy. Margaret was a communicant of St. Annes Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by 3 sisters, Delores Denise Leighton, Thelma Marie Pomeroy, Katherine Theresa Cobb; brother, Joseph Raymond Cobb; infant daughter, Patricia Laurene Haskell; granddaughter, Lisa Marie Bagley; 2 brother-in-laws, Edwin Leighton and John Giambusso. He married Dagmar Rasmussen Sept. 4, 1907, in rural Cedar Falls and she died Oct. 19, 1945. He married Gladys Nelson Nov. 19, 1947 in Nashua and she died Oct. 24, 1966. She was born in Brewer Dec. 1, 1924, the daughter of Gilbert R. and F. Gertrude (Leach) Snowman. Helen was a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1943. She was a member of the East Orrington Congregational Church, Bangor Senior Citizens, a 20 year member 1 of the VFW Auxiliary No 1761 Bangor a member and past matron of Riverside Chapter No. 1 23 OES of Orland and a dual member of Harbor View Chapter No. 1 36 OES of Deer Isle and a former member of John R. Chase Chapter No 129 OES of Carmel, a former grand representative of Nevada in Maine, associated with the Orrington Assembly ORG and holder of the Grand Cross of Color. She was predeceased by her parents, husband and brothers, Gilbert and Eugene. Surviving are three children, Linda Carter of Bangor, Janet and her husband Edwin Nordfors of Brewer, Venita and her husband, Lester Norton of Apopka, Fla.; nine grandchildren Rae Garland, Patricia Garland, and Jennifer Getchell, all of Bangor, Edwin Nordfors III of Brewer, Peter Garland of Bangor, Amanda Getchell of Hermon, Kristyn Nordfors of Brewer, Paul Norton and Emily Norton, both of Apopka, Fla.; eight greatgrandchildren, Derrick Garland, Allysa Nason, Lisa Garland, Katrina Garland, Camryn Nordfors, Skyler Donlin and Ethan Getchell, all of Bangor, Daniel Ruiz of Tacoma, Wash; four sistersl Barbara Doll, Gertrude Weston, both of Bangor, Katherine Luce of Brewer, Myrna Knight of Alton, N,H,; a brother, Fred Snowman of Poughquag, N.Y."
