He was born in Brewer June 18, 1927, son of Gilbert R. and F. Gertrude (Leach) Snowman. He served in the Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (George) Snowman of Gaithersburg; daughters, Jeannie Burke of New Port Richey, Fla., and Marie Bartolomeo of Gaithersburg; sons, Gary Snowman of Gardiner and Randy Snowman of Gaithersburg; sisters, Barbara Doll, Helen Irwin and Katherine Luce, all of Brewer, Gertrude Weston of Bangor and Myrna Knight of Alton, N.H.; a brother, Fred Snowman of Poughquag, N.Y.; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Gilbert R. Snowman of Belfast."
