[54868] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 3 October 2023: "Palmyra - Harold W. Condon, 93, passed away peacefully October 1, 2023, with his family by his side at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born May 31, 1930, in Corinna, a son of Will and Helen (Libby) Condon. He was educated in Palmyra and Newport schools graduating from Newport High School, class of 1947. He joined the Navy after graduation serving aboard the U.S.S. Kearsarge. After discharge, he attended Coyne Electrical School and became a master electrician starting his own business and holding his license right to the end. Harold is survived by his 3 children and their spouses, Bill and Fawn of Corinna, Carol and Larry Poulin of Florida, and Evie and Dan Bowman of Newport; 6 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rita (Pion); and his second wife, Ruth (McAllister). He was the last surviving sibling of eight children."
