Sheila was born in Lubec, the daughter of Rita Ingalls Brodie and Carlton Brodie of Lubec, both deceased; and was the wife of Harold "Sonny" Knight. She is survived by her four siblings, Brian Brodie, Patricia Archer, Carleton Brodie Jr. and Brenda Bryant and their families. Sheila was a wife and mother, and devoted her life to caring for her family: her husband of 62 years, Harold; her son, John S. Knight and his wife, Dianne, of Bucksport and grandsons, Jared and Jake; her daughter, Cynthia Brodie Esq. of Portland and granddaughter, Emily; and her daughter, Pamela Smallwood and her husband, Michael, of Oakland and grandsons, Samuel and his wife, Robin, Jesse and his wife, Jadian, and Caleb and wife, Krista."

[28769] George never married. He worked for many years for the Charles B. Scott Co. in Scranton, PA and r. with his sister, Mary, in the later years before dying of a heart attack. His grave marker records "PENNSYLVANIA PVT 11 MOTOR CO MTC WORLD WAR I". "The Scrantonian [Scranton, PA]. 23 July 1961," p. 10: "The funeral of George Hudak, 1322 Madison Ave., Dunmore, will be held from the Chipak Funeral Home, Madison Avenue and Mulberry Street, Tuesday with mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. John's Greek Catholic Church. Interment, St, John's Cemetery, Minooka section. friends may call 2 to 4, 7 to 10 p.m. Mr. Hudak died Friday night after a heart attack at his home. A native of Austria-Hungary, he lived here 55 years. He was a son of the late Andrew and Julia Hrivnyak Hudak. A veteran of World War I, he was employed 26 years in the electrical department of C. B. Scott & Co. He was a member of St. John's Church and has served as a former choirmaster there. Surviving are three sisters, Julia, this city; Mrs. Michael Macinsky, Dunmore; Mrs. Andrew Dranchak, Lancaster, four brothers, Stephen, Dunmore; Michael, Phoenix, Ariz.; John, Dundalk, Md., and Peter, Trenton, N.J., and several nieces and nephews."

He Married Mary Catlin, daughter of Sir Robert Catlyn, of Berne, Dorset. To this union one son was born; Robert 1st Baron Spencer, of Wormleighton. Sir John Spencer was invested as a Knight in 1588 by Queen Elizabeth I, upon the death of his father. Sir John planted a large wood a the rear of Althorp. The oldest oaks still growing there today were planted at his instruction in 1589. It was Sir John's intention to boost the timber stocks, in order to help enable the English Navy to build more ships. Sir John increased the Althorp estate by buying Little Brington in 1592 from Francis Bernard."
