He was born at Orrington, September 3, 1900, the son of John and Angie (Byard) Harris. He had been a resident of Howland for 45 years, moving to Warehouse Point 13 years ago. He had been employed at Pratt and Whitney. Mr. Harris was a member and past master of Composite Lodge of Masons at LaGrange and was a member of Mt. Horeb Chapter of Mattawamkeag and St. John's Commandery of Bangor. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Celia (Veino) Harris of Warehouse Point; one daughter, Mrs. Hope Oldenburg of Lincoln; three sons, Gerald Harris of Elizabeth, N.J., Forrest Harris Jr. of Littleton, Mass., and James Harris of Warehouse Point; one brother, George Harris of Verona; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Dean of Howland, Mrs. Ruth Lugdon of Alton and Mrs. Pauline Dugan of Seboeis; and 14 grandchildren."
