[58889] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 8 November 2021: "Ellsworth - Emery 'Bucky' Maclean, 88, passed peacefully Sunday morning, with loved ones by his side and his beloved wife, Joan, waiting for him at Heaven's gates. Bucky was always one to make it count in everything he did. Forever known as a legend in our small Maine towns as the hardest working diesel mechanic in downeast. He loved telling stories about his Navy days on the Destroyer Strickland, if you were lucky enough to hear one or two, you'd know there was never a dry eye due to the laughter. A dedicated genuine man whom loved God, his service to Country. Lived by his impressive 'work your fingers to the bone' mentality, how much he loved his home town of Cherryfield and spending time with his most cherished family and friends, all which continued till his last breath. Bucky was predeceased by his loving wife, Joan Maclean; and parents Mattie and Don Maclean. He is survived by his sisters, Minny Young, Sandy Stanwood and Mackey King Horn; brothers, Virgil Maclean and Carol Maclean; Bucky's son, Murray Biron Seavey Jr.; daughter-in-law, Theresa Seavey; daughter, Bonnie Jo LaPointe; grandchildren, Carolyn Smith, Shawna Cain and Bruce Hartford Jr.; great-grandchildren, Karyssa Stickle, Robbie Cain, Nikki Smith and Christopher Smith; many great-great-grandchildren; and many friends whom he considered family. You'll be greatly missed but celebrated! It's not the end, it's only the beginning of your next journey."
