She was a native of Beals and worked as a sardine packer at various factories in Beals and Jonesport before finally retiring from Stinson's cannery. She enjoyed word search puzzles, watching television and most of all her family. Marie was a loving and patient person who deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and never missed a birthday or anniversary. Survivors include three sons, Rickey and his wife, Holly, Dickey and his wife, Wendy, all of Jonesport, and Dale, and his wife Amber of Kennebunk; two daughters - Noreen Smith of Kennebunk and Earlene Kelley and her husband Ralph of Collegeville, Pa; 12 grandchildren, Debbie O'Hara, Allan Kelley, Michelle Turner, Lisa Kelley, Richard Beal, Annette Lewia, Brenda White, Harold Beal, Ann Mane Alley, Whitney Beal, Oscar Beal, and Derrick Beal; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years. Earlon A; six brothers, Orval Faulkingham, Sr, Ira, Luther, Harvey and John Faulkingham and Morris Beal; seven sisters, Greta Lenfestey, Hattie Woodward, Charlotte Burke, Etelka Faulkingham,. Salomie Faulkingham, Genevieve Lamson and Winona Purington; and son-in-law, William Smith."

He was born Sept. 26, 1902, in Newport, the son of Charlps S. and Margaret Loy Whitekettle. His wife, the former Elizabeth Myers, survives with one sister, Miss Pauline Whitekettle of Newport. A graduate of Newport High School, he graduated in 1924 from Penn State in the School of Forestry. He was employed with the Federal Government in Civil Service. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Boalsburg and Tau Phi Delta fraternity. He was an honorary member of Boalsburg Fire Company and the Boalsburg Lions Club. Funeral services were held at the Koch Funeral Home, State College, with the Rev. Robert L. Rohrbaugh officiating. Burial was in the Boalsburg Cemetery." Loy m. June 6, 1929 Elizabeth C.
