Surviving are six sons, Harry A., Denton D., and Joseph D., all of McAlisterville, David C., of Richfield Star Route, Earl W. of Mifflintown R.D. 1 and Samuel R., of Oakland Mills; two daughters, Mrs. Jerome (Jane) Cook of Port Royal and Mrs. Richard (Susan) Smith of Gettysburg; two brothers, Denton D. and John W. Adams of Thompsontown R.D. 1; 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Ritzman was a member of the Lost Creek Untied Presbyterian Church and the Community Club of McAlisterville."

The late Pitman man was born May 23, 1918, a son of Harry and Clara (Wolfgang) Mervine, Hegins, R.R.2. During the past several years he was employed at the Riverside Shoe company, Millersburg. Mr. Mervine was a member of Kimmel Lutheran Church, Ashland, R. D. Survivors include the widow, the former Alma Rebuck; two children, Rodger and Linda, both at home; four brothers, Earl and Gomer, both of Hegins; Clement, Williamstown, and Meivin, Tremont, and five sisters, Mrs. Ray Kissinger, Ashland; Mrs. Elmer Swinhart, Ashland, R. D.; Mrs. Guy Boyer, Steelton, and Grace and June, both of Hegins, R. D. 2. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 in Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, R. D. 1. Services will be continued in Kimmel Lutheran Church, Ashland, R. D. Rev. Frederick Erb, pastor of Hegins Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Evangelical Church Cemetery, Hegins."

Third son of Thomas de Ufford and Lady Eve de Clavering, grandson of Sir Robert de Ufford and Joan, John FitzRobert de Clavering and Hawise de Tibetot. Husband of Sibyl de Pierrepoint, daughter and heiress of sir Simon de Pierrepoint of Wrentham . They had one son, Sir Robert and one daughter, Ela, who married Sir Miles Stapleton. Edmund was granted an annual rent of 40 marks by Henry,Earl of Lancaster from the manor of Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire. He was heir to his brother, John de Ufford, and on his mother's death, succeeded to the Barony of Clavering. Edmund was presented to the rectory of Blythburgh, Suffollk in 1371, and left a will dated 01 Sept 1374, proved 03 Oct 1375, buried at Langley, Norfolk."
