Chosen Tything Man, March 13, 1732, he was one of four surveyors of highways, March 15, 1735. He served as a member of Capt. George Berry's Company, entered service June 3, 1747 and served 25 weeks, 6 days. (Records of the First Parish Church, Wells, ME)." McDonald notes he is son of Robert Munson and Sarah Tileston.
