[28335] Jacob and Lydia and parents are from the LDS Church's unverified Pedigree Resource File. A posting in rootsweb.ancestry.com in 1998 by Frances Van Scoy: "Lucy A. (Cooper) Marvin (1833-1897 Richland County, Ohio) is the daughter of Jacob Cooper (1793-1877) and Lydia Oakley (abt 1800 - 1866). (Jacob and Lydia Cooper are buried in London Cemetery, Jackson Township, Richland County, Ohio.) Someone has suggested to me that the marriage of Jacob Cooper to Lydia Oakley in Washington County, Ohio, on September 21, 1820 (as reported in Ohio Marriages' abstracted from 'The Old Northwest Genealogy Quarterly' by Marjorie Smith) is that of this couple."
