"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 10 June 1936, p. 8: "Castine, June 9 - Henry W. B. Leach, 83, died late yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Norman Grindle, after a long illness. For many years Mr. Leach lived in Penobscot, his native town, but for the past 23 years has made his home in this village. He is survived by two daughters. Mrs. Norman Grindle, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. Fred Leach of Penobscot, and by one son, Ward Leach, also of Penobscot. A brother, Everett Leach, of this town, also survives, as do several grandchildren."
