He lived in Thorndike, Waldo, Maine, United States for about 44 years and Maine, United States in 1870. He died on 6 June 1881, in Enfield, Penobscot, Maine, United States, at the age of 74, and was buried in Ridge Cemetery, Enfield, Penobscot, Maine, United States."
