[1328] "Historical Memoranda Concerning Persons and Places in Old Dover, NH," by Quint, relates that he served in the Indian Wars of 1707 and was Major of the NH troops in the attack on Port Royal in 1707, and was their Colonel in the reduction of that place in 1710. He was Colonel of the Rangers in the winter of 1710 and latger became a Judge. Eva Gardner's summary of his life is in genealogical records at the New Castle, NH Town Clerk's office in 1964.
