Deanna's obituary: "Deanna M. DeWitt, 61, of Schoodic Lake, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 18, 2017. She was born October 28, 1955, in Milo, the daughter of John L. and Ardelle F. (Small) Kirby.
Deanna is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard DeWitt; a daughter, Kristina Feero and husband, Keith; a son, Kurt DeWitt and significant other, Julie (Commeau); four grandchildren, Kyle and Addyson Feero and Merris and Maddox DeWitt; her step-mother, Mary Kirby; three brothers, John Kirby and wife, Diane, Gerald Kirby and wife, Jennie, and Alan Kirby and wife, Pam; a sister, Dianne Kirby Bowden and husband, Dennis; a sister-in-law, Sheila Kirby; two step-sisters, Heidi Poole and husband, Mark, and Tina Meserve and husband, Jeff; father and mother-in-law, Eben and Joanne DeWitt; and a brother-in-law, David Hamlin, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, and a brother, Wayne Kirby. A very special thank you is extended to all of Deanna's close friends and family who have taken such special care of her over the last year of her life and to Beacon Hospice, including Katie Pearl and Amanda DeWitt, for providing exceptional care to her during her last few weeks."
