For a discussion of d'Aubigny ancestry, see "Falaise Roll," (Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., 1994), p. 6. William was known as "Brito" and as William De Albiniaco of Buckenhem. The web site referenced for his purported father reports William was b. 1075 in Aubigny, Normandy. http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cousin/html/p200.htm reports "He was 'pincerna' or butler to King Henry I. He founded the priory of Wymondham, Norfolk, as a cell of St. Albans before 1107." Cf. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~mysouthernfamily/myff/d0032/g0000021.html. http://www.thepeerage.com/p2349.htm states "He held the office of Lord of the Manor of Buckenham, Norfolk. He migrated from the Côtentin to England." "Medieval English Ancestry of Certain Americans," Carl Boyer III (2001), p. 2 reports William served as an itinerant justice and is said by Matt. Paris to have "assisted in the victory of Tenchebray in 1106 and came into high favor with King Henry I."

She had been a patient in the local medical center for the past three weeks. Death resulted from complications of a heart condition. She served a one-year internshin in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. The late physician practiced medicine in Baltimore until 1908, when she was married to William J. Heaps, who at that time owned and operated Milton University in Baltimore. She joined her husband in teaching medicine and remained in Baltimore for approximately 48 years before returning to Shamokin. Her husband dipd in April of 1957. Dr. Heaps was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ prior to residing in Baltimore. She belonged to a number of auxiliaries affiliated with the medical profession. Survivors include three brothers, Daniel R. Erdman, Sunbury; Emery G. Erdman, Shamokin, and Walter G. Erdman, Riverton, N. J., and three sisters, Mrs. Flora Christian and Mrs. John F. Gillespie, Shamokin. and Mrs. Myrtle D. Koehler, Quakertown."
