[8663] Ida was educated at Eastern State Normal School in Castine and became a teacher. She is "Ida Mae Morgrage" in the family Bible.
[2258] This person is presumed living.
[23719] Edward is son of Edward Starbuck and emigrated from Leicestershire in 1635. He was elected deputy (representative) to the MA General Court (legislature) in 1643 and 1646, and was one of three men appointed "wearesmen" or official river fishermen for life at Dover, NH. He was given permission in 1647 to erect a sawmill and entered the lumber business with Richard Waldron. He was fined for professing "anabaptism." He later moved to Nantucket, and in 1673 was one of five selectmen there. See "New England Ancestors" (Boston, MA: NEHG Society, Fall, 2008), Vol. 9, No. 4, pp. 30-31.
