LDS Church's IGI file states he was born in Pottstown, PA. Parents and siblings are from J. Helbert (helbert@ligtel.com) in GenForum Aug 2001. Baughman's "History of Ashland Co." (p. 502) states he and Elizabeth were "born and reared about thirty miles west of Philadelphia."
