[51454] "The Ellsworth American [Elsworth, Maine], 8 September 2015": "Deer Isle - Rhea J. (Conary) Hutchinson passed away on Sept. 5, 2015. She was born in Camden, Maine, on Aug. 24, 1935, the daughter of Minot K. Conary and Margaret (Rogers) Conary. The family lived in several towns as Rhea grew up - Searsport, Jonesport, Camden, and the Sunshine area of Deer Isle. The family spent summers on Isle au Haut. Rhea graduated from McKinley High School in Deer Isle in 1953 and went on to graduate from Husson College in Bangor. In 1956, she married Jerry L. Hutchinson, in a small ceremony on Isle au Haut, and they began their life together. Both she and Jerry worked at Fox & Ginn Moving & Storage in Bangor. Soon after, Jerry became a teacher and began his teaching career in the Sedgwick Junior High School. They moved to their home in South Deer Isle, where they raised their two daughters. Rhea began working part time at the old Sunset post office in Sunset in the late 1960s, and thus began her career in the Postal Service. She worked as a postal clerk in the Sunset and Bangor post offices, respectively, postmaster of the Stonington Post Office, and then as postal supervisor in the Bangor post office. Rhea is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Hutchinson of Deer Isle; her daughter Vicki L. Hutchinson-Ingalls and husband, Harold, of Surry; her daughter Susan M. Hutchinson and husband, Steve, of Deer Isle; grandson Derek L. Hutchinson and wife, Jackie, of Sullivan; granddaughter Heather and husband, Derek, of Stonington; granddaughter Hollie of Deer Isle; granddaughters Hannah, Mary Anne, and Abigail, all of Deer Isle, and great-grandson Stanley of Sullivan."

Ancestry.com states McKillop is a variant of McKillip and offers: "Mckillip Name Meaning - Scottish and northern Irish (County Antrim): Anglicized form of Gaelic Mac Fhilib son of Philip (see Philip)."
