Luckenbaugh, a retired farmer, died suddenly at 12:30 o'clock this afternoon at his home, 42 Center street, Penn township, near Hanover. He was 82 years old. Mr. Luckenbaugh had been ill for some time but was able to be about the house. Coroner L. U. Zech was summoned and signed the death certificate. Born in Codorus township, he was a son of the late John and Catharine Myers Luckenbaugh. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Lucinda Stambaugh Luckenbaugh; three sons, Charles, Jacobs Mill; John and Paul, Hanover; a daughter, Minnie Luckenbaugh, at home; six grandchildren; two brothers, John and William, both of near Leschey's church, and three sisters, Mrs. Israel Stambaugh and Mrs. Mary Nace, Codorus township, and Mrs. John Senft, Menges Mills. The deceased was a member of Leschey's Reformed congregation."

On Aug. 23, 1930, she married Dr. E.T. Donahue, a dentist, in Oxford. He died on May 29, 1987. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and Social Service. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rodger (Kate) Mullen of Lafayette and Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Moore of Columbus; and a son, Patrick Joseph Donahue of Melbourne, Fla."
