Born March 29, 1905, in Fowlerville, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Franks. Survivors include three daughters, Ilene Rathburn of Wllllamston, Dorothy Stapleton of Dry Prong, La., and Alice Hildabridle of Morley; seven sons, Glen of Riverdale, James and John of Charlotte, Walter of Pewamo, Donald of Fowlerville, Carl of Florida and Henry of Middlebury, Ind. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Ronald. . . . Burial was at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Okemos . . ."
