From the East Maine Methodist Conference Journal of 1890 (p. 49) is the following obituary:
Rev. Charles B. Dunn, was born in Alexandria, Maine, Dec. 10, 1815, and died in Hampton, Maine, May 25, 1889; of paralysis of the heart.
He entered the ministry in 1842. In 1847 the East Maine Conference was organized by the division of the old Maine Conference, and the membership of Bro. Dunn was assigned to the East Maine, of which body he continued a beloved and honored member until his death.
He served his conference thirty-six years as pastor and seven years in the office of Presiding Elder; then advancing age and failing health compelled him to retire to the honored list of superannuates.
He turned aside from the active work to his chosen home with a people he had served two full terms in the pastorate.
He leaves to deplore his absence, but to find comfort in his victory, the wife of his early manhood and three daughters, and a large host of friends gathered in the communities where he served as pastor and Presiding Elder.
Yet they "sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
He was a thorough student of books, a careful observer of men, a critical reader of the events of the age, an original thinker, a profound disciple of the Bible and a devoted adherent of the Lord Jesus.
His analysis of all subjects that engaged his thoughts was penetrating, while his presentation of them was logical, clear and flashed with the sparkling brilliancy of his keen wit.
His pastoral visits were choice moments of intellectual and religious instruction, and his sermons and addresses were mines of gold ore.
Error retired abashed from the sharp blade of his sarcasm and the telling blows of his logic.
Truth borrowed new beauty and strength from his terse sentences and his purity of character which was born of the truth and had abundance fruitage in his life.
None who have heard him will ever forget the glow of his countenance nor the thrill of religious joy, when he would rise in the prayer meeting to say "I have seen the Maytime of life, I am now in life's December, but I can sing 'December is as pleasant as May.'"
A sweet, pure, strong, noble life and ministry has gone before us to the rest beyond.

[2695] Guy was also Margrave of Namur. In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/NAMUR.htm offers: "Guy de Dampierre, son of Guillaume [II] Seigneur de Dampierre & his wife Marguerite II Ctss of Flanders ([1225/26]-Compiègne 7 Mar 1305, bur Abbaye de Flines, near Douai). William of Tyre (Continuator) specifies that the wife of Pierre de Courtenay gave birth to a son soon after arriving in Constantinople. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names 'iuvenis Balduinus qui modo est imperator' as youngest of the four son of 'comitis Petris'. He succeeded his brother in 1251 as Guy joint Count of Flanders. He bought the rights to Namur 20 Mar 1263 from Baudouin II titular Emperor of Constantinople. He succeeded as sole Count of Flanders on the abdication of his mother 29 Dec 1278."

[12412] She was active in French politics during the reign of her son, Louis XIII. In 1600 she became the second wife of Henry IV. They had six children, the eldest of whom became king as Louis XIII when his father was assassinated in 1610. As regent during her son's minority, Marie was dominated by her Italian advisers and, unlike her husband, followed a pro-Spanish policy; she arranged to marry both Louis and his sister Elizabeth into the Spanish royal family. At home, she proved unable to control the turbulent French nobles. She was excluded from power by her son in 1617, but was readmitted to the royal council five years later. Marie promoted the advancement of Armand Du Plessis de Richelieu, using her influence to have him made a cardinal in 1622 and Louis's prime minister in 1624. When Richelieu reversed her policy of alliance with Spain, she turned against him. After failing in a plot to remove him in 1630, she went into permanent exile. Marie de Médicis was a patron of the Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens, who illustrated her life in a brilliant series of 21 paintings (1622-24).
