[55593] The 14 April 1950 federal census in the Cranberry Isles, Hancock Co., ME list Richard (age 23, lobster fishing) and wife Lillian (age 19) with daughter Suzanne (age 1). Find A Grve memorial 152413650 offers his obituary: "Richard Andrew Alley Sr., 89, died September 14, 2015 in Bangor. He was born June 4, 1926 in Jonesboro, the son of Andrew Edmond and Clara A. (Scott) Alley. Richard served in the U.S. Army out in the pacific during WWI, Iwo Jima. He became ill during his service time and was separated from his unit. When he was well, he got the job of ferrying the commanders back and forth on small boats that, consequently, were made at Hinckley Boat Yard in Southwest Harbor. Richard was an avid sports fan, especially The Red Sox. Upon his return from the service he married his wife, Lillian (Bryant) in 1947. He started his career as a lobsterman and fished until 1971. Due to a change in his health, he then went into carpentry until his retirement. Richard is survived by one son, Richard 'Rick' Alley Jr. of Islesford; one daughter, Sue Miller of Southwest Harbor; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife; youngest daughter, Julie Alley; three brothers and a sister."

He was born March 22, 1893, in Philadelphia, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Brown Beahn. He was educated in the Philadelphia Schools and moved to Hamilton in 1932. He retired in 1955 as president and partner of the Wright Brenet Brush Company. He was a member of the West Wood Presbyterian Church, the Hamilton Rotary Club, the Covenant Lodge, Palmyra, N.J., F&AM, Syrian Shrine, Cincinnati, the Scottish Rite, Cincinnati, and a member and past president of the Hamilton Shrine Club. Surviving are his wife, Mabel Rice Beahn, and a brother, Bruce Beahn, Medford Lakes, N.J."

She was the mother of King Henry II of Castile. Eleanor was the daughter of nobleman Pedro Núñez de Guzmán and his wife, Beatriz Ponce de León, a great-granddaughter of King Alfonso IX of León. Her parents married Eleanor off as a young girl to Juan de Velasco. Eleanor's husband died in 1328, at twenty years old. Soon thereafter, in Seville she met King Alfonso XI. He was so impressed by her beauty that he made her his mistress. He preferred Eleanor to his wife Maria of Portugal, daughter of Alfonso IV of Portugal, who he had married in 1328 for political reasons. After Maria's son and heir, the future Peter of Castile, was born in 1334, Alfonso left Maria and lived with Eleanor instead. The humiliated rightful queen resented her unfaithful husband publicly and asked him to show preference for his mistress. The king gave Eleanor: Huelva, Tordesillas, Medina-Sidonia and others, he also set up her household in Seville and was allowed to hear political matters. Many became annoyed by Alfonso's behaviour and as a result, the Pope intervened by making Portugal invade Castile. The King died on the 27 March 1350 and was succeeded by his legitimate son Peter and his wife Maria served as regent. Maria was thirsting for revenge and she got what she wanted. She had Eleanor imprisoned and later executed in 1351. Eleanor's death did not end the fighting though, her son Henry and Maria's son Peter fought each other for Castile, Henry later won and became King of Castile."

She was born March 26, 1919, in Sedgwick, the daughter of Orrin Washington and Lucy Mae (Chatto) Gray. She graduated from Sedgwick Primary School and worked much of her life locally. Abbie was a member of the North Brooksville Methodist Church and a 65-year member of the Rainbow-Rosier Grange No. 203 of Brooksville. She served as an advisor to the Gray-2000 Family Reunion. Her husband, Allen; and her son, Sheridan, predeceased Abbie. Survivors include her sister, Ruth Thompson of Sedgwick; her son, Sumner; her daughter, Sherris and her husband, Fred Babson of Brooksville; her daughter-in-law, Brenda of Orland; her son, Delmont and his wife, Helen of Waltham; eight grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren; generations of nieces and nephews, mostly living in Hancock county. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at the North Brooksville Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Hutchins, one of Abbie's nephews, officiating."
