Glen is son of William Mowry and Jennie Simms. The following unconnected Mowry information was shared via Internet, 11/97:
The only documentation I have is "family" information I am now in the process of trying to confirm. According to a "Mowry Family Tree" Edgar Mowry is the son of Jeremiah Mowry and Louvina Doubt. The "Mowry Family Tree" has Edgar's wife as Clara Mumis, perhaps misread or misremembered. The children are listed as Gilda, Clifford, and Stanley.
The earliest Mowry ancestor I know is Henry Mowry d. 1852 in Wayne County, Ohio m. Charlotte Jyers b. 1787, in or near Baltimore, Maryland --d.15 Feb 1877, Salt Creek Township, Wayne County, Ohio (confirmed with death record) Their son Charles Mowry m (1) Martha, and Jeremiah Mowry was one of three children by this marriage.

Some parts of the family moved to St. Joseph County Michigan around 1880, some may have moved there before that time.
