He had been ailing since suffering a fall late last year and the past six months had been bedfast. Mr. Myers was born Jan. 6, 1865 at Akron, Ohio, the son of Reuben D. and Sarah J. Myers. He was three years old when his parents located in this community where he was reared to manhood and in early life began farming which he followed during his active life. Surviving are the wife, Nellie; a daughter, Mrs. Irma Hoffman, near Wolcottville; seven grandchildren and four great grand children."
