[335] George Briner moved from Berks Co. to Perry Co. about 1806 and bought his brother Jacob's share in the Thorn tract southwest of Loysville. This farm, just north of the Hidden Valley Boy Scout Camp today, passed from George to his son Solomon. George's grave is at the northwest corner of the Reformed (now United Church of Christ) Church building in Loysville; Anna Maria is buried beside him. [20484] This Thomas may not be the son of Deacon John Daggett, as "The History of Martha's Vineyard...," Charles E. Banks (Edgartown, MA: Dukes Co. Historical Society, 1966), Vol. 3, p. 128 states Deacon John's son Thomas was b. ca. 1688. http://www.spicerweb.org/legacyfiles/3428.htm offers: "Thomas married Sarah Stanley on 21 Mar 1722/23. (Sarah Stanley was born in 1694, died on 30 Aug 1728 in Attleboro, Bristol Co., MA and was buried in Old Hatch Grave Yard, Attleborough, MA .) Thomas next married Elizabeth Blake, daughter of Jonathan Blake and Elizabeth Candage, on 29 Jan 1729 in Wrentham, Suffolk, Massachusetts. (Elizabeth Blake was born in 1705 in Boston, Suffolk, MA and died on 14 Aug 1790 in Attleboro, Bristol Co., MA.)"
[22034] See "Medieval English Ancestors of Certain Americans," Carl Boyer III (Santa Clarita, CA, 2001), p. 24. http://www.aritek.com/hartgen/htm/berkeley.htm states Robert is son of "Prince Harding of Denmark - [who] was born about 1060, lived in Gloucestershire, England and died after 1125 while living in Baldwinstreet, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England . He was the son of Eadnoth of Denmark. Prince Harding married Livida. Livida was born about 1073." - this web site states Eadnoth was b. ca. 1030, lived in England, and d. in 1068. Robert founded in 1141 (and was later a canon of) the Abbey of St. Augustine in Bristol, where he and wife Eva are buried; Eva founded a priory of nuns on St. Michael's Hill, Bristol, and was prioress when she died.
