[30346] "Public Opinion [Chambersburg, PA], 22 July 1966," p. 19: "Albert M. Culbertson, 56, of Spring Run, died unexpectedly at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, at his home. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Born on March 24, 1910, in Amberson, he was a son of the late Albert A. and Orpha Piper Culbertson. Mr. Culbertson was a member of the Amberson Presbyterian Church and an employe of Letterkenny Army Depot. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the 7th Army in Africa, France, and Central Europe. He was a member of the McCartney Post, No. 232, American Legion, at Dry Run. Mr. Culbertson is survived by a sister, Mrs. Margaret Eckenrode, Shippensburg, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the John L. Agett funeral home, Dry Run, with the Rev. Charles F. Tolbert officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the McCartney American Legion Post. Burial will be made in Amberson Cemetery."
