[2658] Flavius Valerius Constantius (called Chiorus - "the Pale") was b. ca. 250 per Encyclopaedia Britannica ('56; 6:313), and "was of Illyrian origin. Having distinguished himself by his military ability and his able and gentle rule of Dalmatia, he was, on March 1, 293, adopted and appointed Caesar by Maximian. In the distribution of the provinces Gaul and Britain were allotted to Constantius. ...During the persecution of the Christians in 303 he behaved with great humanity. He obtained the title of Augustus on May 1, 305, and died the following year before July 25 at Eboracum (York) during an expedition against the Picts and Scots." [41863] The unverified Drury Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2016 proposes Edward and Susan as parents of Robert and offers: "Edward Knight was born in 1560 in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. He married Susan Cole in 1580 in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. They had one child during their marriage. Susan Cole was born in 1563. She married Edward Knight in 1580 in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. . . . . She died in 1654 at the impressive age of 91."

She was a lifelong resident of Loysville and was a member of the Tressler Memorial Lutheran Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Anna J. Meyer, Harrisburg; a brother, Frank Wormley, Griswold, Iowa; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at the Nickel Funeral Home in Loysville. The Rev. G. R. Heim, New Bloomfield, officiated. Burial was in Restland Cemetery."
