He enlisted when fifteen years and twenty-four days old in Capt. Nehemiah Lovewell's Company, serving four months and nineteen days in the Revolutionary War. He was married to Lucy Wright, who was born May 15, 1774, and died October 5, 1821, and, in 1806 moved to Ohio, settling in Butler County near Cincinnati. He probably died soon after this as he was not living in 1809."
