[14015] "The Daily Item [Sunbury, Pennsylvania], 24 October 1966," p. 8: "John Arthur Troutman, 72, of 106 North Market Street, Selinsgrove, passed Away in Community Hospital, Sunbury, on Sun-day at 9:30 p.m., of complications. He had been in the hospital for the past month. He was born at Meiserville, Snyder County, September 14, 1894, the son of the late George S. and Laura Geist Troutman He attended the Port Trevorton public schools, and the Blue Ridge Preparatory School. He was married to the former Mary C. Snyder, January 5, 1931. Mr. Troutman owned and operated an automobile garage at Port Trevorton for a number of years, and was an automobile mechanic for S. E. Fisher, Selinsgrove, for sometime. He was then employed by the Glenn L. Martin Company, Baltimore, and in later years was engaged in the carpentry business. He was a veteran of World War I, having enlisted on July 28, 1917, at Selinsgrove, and was discharged at Camp Dix, N.J., May 20, 1919. Mr. Troutman was a memoer of St. Paul's United Church of Christ; Selinsgrove; American Legion Victory Post No. 25, Selinsgrove; Lafayette Lodge No. 194, Free and Accepted Masons, Selinsgrove; Harrisburg Consistory; the Odd Fellows Lodge of Selinsgrove; Port Trevorton Volunteer Fire Company; a life member of Dauntless Hook and Ladder Fire Company, Selins grove; the Herndon Rod and Gun Club; and the Selinsgrove Last Man's Club of World War I. He is survived by his wife; one brother, Dr. Walter A. Troutman of Elizabethtown; and four nieces and three nephews. One sister preceded him in death."

Obituary in "The St. Petersburg Times [St. Petersburg, Florida],": "Wardwell, Robert R., 83, of Largo, died Wednesday (Dec. 24, 1997) at Mariner Health Care of Belleair. He was born in Penobscot, Maine, and came here in 1977 from Bangor, Maine. He worked 30 years in the Bangor Public School System as a teacher and principal. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a 1936 graduate for Eastern State Normal School, Castine, Maine, and received his master's degree in education from the University of Maine at Orono. He was a member of Maine Teachers Association and the National Education Association and Masonic Lodge 4, Hancock County, Maine. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary; a son, David, Brewer, Maine; two daughters, Linda Kilbourn, London, Ontario, and Sally Foster, Gardiner, Maine; a brother, Donald, Bucksport, Maine; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
