[25430] David A. Haskell's site states Robert m. (2) Elizabeth Quarles (b. ca. 1688). http://hfa.haskells.net/haskellfamilyna/pafg15.htm offers in 2018: "Robert is mentioned occasionally in the Beverly town records. He was a surveyor of highways in 1720. On the province tax list for 1735 he is called an ensign. In 1742 he was elected a selectman, and he served in various town offices in the following years. By then he had been promoted to a captain. In 1746 he was a selectman, tax assessor, an overseer of the poor and a surveyor of highways for the second district. When his son Benjamin died about 1746, it appears that Benjamin's three sons came under Robert's guardianship. He was abated 20 shillings, 5 pence of his 1759 poll tax, part of which apparently was for Benjamin's son Nathaniel, who had moved from Beverly to Manchester within the previous year. For further explanation see Nathaniel's biography. On the town tax list for 1760 he has listed as having 1 horse, 2 oxen, 6 cows, 16 sheep, 3 swine and £35 cash. On 15 October 1765 he was chosen to be in the grand jury pool for the following month." and "Robert married (2) Elizabeth Quarles after 14 Mar 1725 in Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts. Elizabeth was born 7 about 1688. She died on 8 Jan 1765 in Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts. She was buried in Ancient Burial Ground, Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts."

[26624] In 2007 http://www.answers.com/topic/frederick-i-duke-of-lorraine offers: "Frederick I (French: Ferry or Ferri) (c.1143 7 April 1206) was the duke of Lorraine from 1205 to his death. He was the second son of Matthias I and Judith, daughter of Frederick II, Duke of Swabia. He succeeded his brother, Simon II, who had already given him the county of Bitche in 1176 and had recognised him over the northern, germanophone half of Lorraine by the Treaty of Ribemont of 1179. Judith had wanted him to succeed to all their father's inheritance, but a three-year civil war only secured him Bitche and a half-portion. Simon abdicated to a monastery in 1205, recognising Frederick's son Frederick as heir. Frederick inherited it all nevertheless, but died a year later and it went to his son by Ludmilla (1150 1223), daughter of Mieszko III the Old, duke of Greater Poland and high duke of all Poland>, and Elisabeth, daughter of Prince Álmos."
