Holmes, Jr. 3/1/91 states a Thomas Burnham m. in the mid-1660s a Mary Lawrence Tuttle, dau. of John; John was b.1596 & arrived on "Planter" at Ipswich in 1635, had 7 children and 5 others who may be relatives, plus a servant - ref. "Planters of the Commonwealth," p.144f. Mary was 7th of 7 children, and 2nd to bear name Mary (the 1st dying in infancy).
