Crose, 79, of 1170 Walker St. died Thursday evening at home after a long illness. Mr. Crose was born May 28, 1915, in Morgan County, Ky., to James Arthur and Kate Sargent Crose, and lived in the Mansfield area since 1932. He retired from Empire Detroit Steel after working there 33 years. Mr. Crose was a member of the Church of God on Stewart Road. He is survived by his wife, Cassie Fugett Crose of Mansfield; four sons and daughters-in-law, David and Betty Crose of Bishop, Calif., Charles and Doris Crose of Cameron Park, Calif., Cliff and Jenny Crose of Mansfield and James and Linda Crose of North Woodbury; one daughter, Gloria Amato of Shelby; three stepdaughters and stepsons-in-law, Norma Jean and Lawrence Adams of New Carlisle, Barbara and Delbert Callihan of Niles and Sandra and Barry Ferguson of Kentucky; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Dwayne and Janice Fugett of Jamestown and Darrell and Pauline Fugett of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; five step-greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Walter and Gardie Crose, both of Mansfield; and three sisters, Hazel Taylor of Mansfield, Olive Finley of Crystal Springs, Fla., and Sylvia Doelling of Boynton Beach, Fla. He was preceded in death by four sisters. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Chelsey I. Noel. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park in Lexington."

[55175] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 8 September 2020: "Exeter - Laurice Everett Weeks, 92, died September 5, 2020 at a Bangor hospital. He was born September 19, 1927 in Carmel, a son of Ervin and Marion (Collins) Weeks. Laurice had been out on his own from a young age joining the Merchant Marines and later the U. S. Army. When he returned home he worked in the woods and farmed. He also worked at Abbott Woolen Mill in Dexter, Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna, and the Hartland Tannery. His children remember him as a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Laurice is survived by his son Robert of Exeter; a daughter, Kathy Moore of North Hartland, Vermont; two sisters, Madelyn French of Rockland, Lillian Hand and husband Ralph of Bangor; 2 grandchildren, Trevor Moore and girlfriend Meredith, Jessica Bernatchy and husband Lucas; 2 great-grandchildren, Haleigh Moore and Mason Bernatchy."
